How can I describe my students in only 930 characters? Well, we could talk about the data. Many of my students are Multi-Lingual Learners, all of them are in Special Education, most of them qualify for free or reduced lunch, and most of them are reading below grade level. We could talk about all that... OR we could talk about the amazing humans I have seen them become over the past two years.
My 18 students are the most determined, caring, joyful, and appreciative group you will ever know. While I won't give away each students' name, I will name them by one of their biggest personal strengths. We have confident, respectful, responsible, adaptable, kind, patient, generous, courageous, reliable, open-minded, organized, supportive, honor, mindful, inclusive, helpful, dedicated, and resilient. These students love learning, and their strengths help them achieve beyond all odds!
