When this project is fully funded, students will all be able to see the big books during a read-aloud while they are displayed on the easel, which will allow for the students to engage in more meaningful conversations relating to comprehension questions. While big books are being read aloud, students will be able to track the print as the teacher points to the words. Students will also be able to use the easel to build words while working on word work and the weekly spelling patterns in a more hands-on way. Students will be able to use the Magna-Tiles to work collaboratively with one another.
