Every day our students grade K - 5 receive 50 minutes to explore their passions - science, technology, engineering, art, and music - STEAM! In a world where schools are so focused on curriculum and testing, let's give creativity back to these young developing minds and provide them with REAL opportunities to engage in the arts. These materials will supply our students with the opportunities to fully engage in what it feels like to be an artist, an engineer, or a scientist. Imagine Kindergartners exploring how sounds can be produced by beating, blowing, shaking and tapping, and then turning these sounds into music using tambourines, xylophones, finger pianos, maracas, castanets, kazoo, and more. Imagine 2nd graders sitting at their easels, paintbrushes in hand, palettes full of paint and ready to be used painting masterpieces inspired by famous artist. Imagine 5th graders engineering the next world-changing design simply from Legos, motors, and their imagination. These experiences can open the minds of our children and enlighten them of their genius beyond the curriculum. Let's keep imagination, creativity, and FUN in our schools!
