My students are like any other typical First Grade students. They are excited about school and eager to learn. They want to have learning resources so they can become as "smart" as they can be. They attend a Title I school, and unfortunately are not provided with many learning opportunities outside of school. Another unfortunate obstacle for them is that our school does not always have the newest learning resources available to them. They do not have many books at home, and/or do not have anyone to help them with their learning. Some of them have helpful parents or guardians, but do not have books at home. An enriched classroom library with many opportunities to read and technology resources will help them evolve into great readers and amazing students.
About my class
