My students learn in a self-contained classroom focusing on functional and academic skills. They range in abilities (Autism, Intellectual Disabilities) and grades (K-2). They attend a high poverty school and have various significant disabilities. All of my students have special needs in regard to communication, and most of them do not speak English as their first language. Many of my students learn best through visual representations and modeling.
