I teach K-5th-grade students with moderate disabilities and autism. We work on academic as well as life skills throughout the day. My students love cooking activities and really learn a great deal both academically and functionally. Along with the life skills my students are working on, they also use many reading and math skills through the various cooking activities we have done in the classroom.
