My second grade students live in a small, rural community, in California's central valley. They come from all walks of life and have the same desires as 7-8 year olds everywhere-to do well in school and make their families proud. It is my responsibility, as a teacher, to help my students develop a love of learning, so that these desires can be fulfilled.
