I am the IEP teacher. My time is spent working with students K-5th grade. I work closely with the school's intervention team to identify students who need additional supports in the school. I look at what interventions are already available in the school and review assessment data for students to determine the needs of at-risk students and students with IEPs. I work with teacher's to help provide supports and answer any questions they may have regarding IEP's or special education. I have ongoing communication with the parents in the building to ensure that services are being provided and support them should they feel their child needs additional supports to be successful.I am a member of the behavior support team in which we meet regularly to look at our current behavior systems and to see where we can make improvements to better support our colleagues/staff and most importantly, keep our students safe.
