I teach an amazing group of fourth grade students! As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district having enough materials and resources is always a challenge. I rely heavily upon donations in order to enhance the learning experiences of my students. Although we are a STEM Magnet, our school is fully Title I, as approximately 59% of students come from low socioeconomic homes. Despite the many challenges they face, students at our school are excited and motivated to learn. Parents send their children to our school hoping for better futures. Thankfully, our students come to school with eager, open minds. They just need the resources and opportunity to excel.
