This upcoming school year brings me to a new school in which I will teach a new grade level. Many of my 4th graders live below the poverty level and are excited for a new year of school where they feel safe and cared for. Majority of them speak English as second language and struggle to meet the daily challenges in the classroom. The opportunity to learn is very important for each of them.
