My students come from all 50 wards of the city of Chicago attend the only public arts high school in Chicago. Some students spend almost 2 hours on public transportation to be at an environment that not only fosters them in the arts--visual, performing, music or dance--but provides them a rigorous, college preparatory education. Every student that enters is told that theycan and will be successful in college and we provide a rigorous, challenging curriculum that will prepare them for life post graduation, whether that is in the arts or not.
