Here in Ms. K. Nelson's 4th Grade class in Georgia, is a classroom full of today's future citizens. I teach three sets of classes, thereby, I have the opportunity to teach a wide variety of students- some of my students are high achievers and others are struggling. Needless to say, one thing that I have learned is that all of my students can learn, if I provide the necessary tools and remediation to support their learning.
My students are some of the most curious, intelligent, wide-eyed, engaged students that I have ever met. They are curious about the things that exist in the world, and ask thought provoking questions. My students are very intelligent and are eager to learn. The students in my class are amongst the economically disadvantaged, most of the students live in federal funded housing area. On another note, despite the students current living situation, they strive to do their best.
