Programming is an essential skill for students interested in engineering. The WeDo 2.0 kits requested will allow our FIRST Robotics team to work with students in grades 3 - 5 at local Boys and Girls clubs. We would like to stimulate an interest in the FIRST program by introducing the students to key programming skills using LEGO WeDo 2.0 kits. By donating to our project, you will not only help our program but help numerous Boys and Girls Clubs in our surrounding area. Our students will work with groups of students identified at five local sites in our county. This project will occur as an enrichment program allowing our students to mentor and start an engineering club at each site.
