You may not know it when you enter our school, but over 90% of our students come from low economic households and over 60% are English language learners. When these students enter through the doors and into our classrooms they are held to very high standards of education. We are pushing all of our students to be successful learners, to attend college and to become excellent future citizens. My students work extremely hard to overcome the hardships that they deal with every day. They deserve so much more than the limited technology we have available. Why should they not also have access to the tools that others are able to use for learning?
