I am a kindergarten teacher in a rural school district. My students are curious and inquisitive learners that soak up new information and knowledge like sponges! The academic and behavioral expectations for these young scholars grows more each year and I am always so surprised to see how many students rise to the occasion. We take lots of brain breaks, sing songs, and dance our way through the day, but several students still occasionally struggle to remain engaged in learning throughout our hour-long math and literacy blocks. I am seeking tools and resources that I can employ to help these young learners learn how to focus and gain academic endurance during the school day so they don't miss a minute of the action!
