My students are joyful, create and full of love, but their unique needs are not served by instruction through a work packet or online instruction. I never imagined that I would be teaching my students without providing them with the hands on materials for them to touch and engage with.
These materials, such as the plastic privacy shields, visual timers and digits will help set up my students to be successful learning from home. The hands on materials such as magnetic letters and dry erase boards will allow my students to participate in learning through hands on activities rather than just through a screen. These materials will set my students and parents up for success in supporting the virtual learning that is happening while we are out of the school building.
