My students are in grades 3鈥5 and receive targeted math intervention to address foundational skill gaps. Many struggle with number sense, place value, and basic operations, making grade-level math a challenge. Some have learning differences or gaps due to disrupted learning, but all of them come to class eager, determined, and ready to grow. They are curious thinkers who light up when a concept finally 鈥渃licks.鈥 I often hear, 鈥淚 used what you taught me in class today!鈥 These students are working hard to rebuild their confidence in math. With access to hands-on manipulatives, they can better visualize and understand difficult concepts, turning frustration into success. They want to succeed 鈥 they just need the right tools to get there.
