The students I serve are low economic status. They are the sweetest kids that are use to being told they have to do without. The school is a Title 1 school and we do the best we can to provide the students with their educational needs. They need to be shown that they are deserving of new books. I encourage them to read any moment they can, but how can I continue to do that when we have a small selection that they have already read many times through. It would be exciting to see their faces when they go to the classroom library to see all the books that they have not experienced.
