My English Language Learner students are kindergarten through fifth grade children. Many speak Spanish, but in our small public school we have 15 different home languages, from Farsi to Krahn to Telugu. When their parents come to our school and read to their classmates in the student's home language, the children glow with pride. Our club is open to all of the students in our school, and we all learn about language and culture together - native English speakers and English learners enjoying presentations from native speakers from around the world.

About my class
