My students are from a low-income socioeconomic status. Neither the school or families have the funds to provide some materials that are needed to learn geometry or calculus. Extracurricular activities have been removed because of COVID causing student to need guidance with their social and emotional wellbeing. My goal is to donate my time to basketball and Chess club to help students with self-management and relationship goals (SEL). I teach geometry, algebra, and calculus. My goal is to help students learn the standards from other than a textbook. They will reach that goal with hands on clinometers to measure distances that cannot be seen ,3-d shapes to measure areas and perimeters, and visual representations using standard such as :HSG-CO.B.6, HSG-CO.D.13,HSG-GMD.A.4, HSA-REI.D.11, HSA-CED.A.2 and many more.
My Goal is to help provide my students with the resources they need to reach their academic goals and succeed in life as an adult.
