The materials that I am requesting in this project will benefit my students as we continue the transition back to in-person learning after the pandemic-related shutdowns.
Since we have been back in the classroom, the transition has had problems, many of which are related to the availability of individual materials. Since students cannot share materials in the classroom, we have to have individual things such as highlighters, markers, and so on, and this project will help my classroom get to a 1:1 ratio with those items so that we can do more things. My students struggle with CCR Reading Standards, in particular standard 1, and being able to use these materials to model things will help advance their learning.
