My students attend an Elementary School in the South Florida Region. My school is located in a low socio-economic neighborhood were a majority of our students are on free or reduced lunch. Majority of my students are English Language Learners and English is not spoken at home. My students are faced with the challenge of learning a new language within a classroom for 90 minutes daily. I am the reading teacher, and I teach reading to a total of four classes per day. No two classes are the same and the need for differentiated instruction is a must. With the proper use of technology, my students will be able to get the maximum benefits of learning programs available.
