Working in a low income school district, the majority of the time the classrooms materials are second use hard to access. Teachers here end up buying as much material as they can with their own money to allow the students access to better resources.
Having educational materials near the hands of the teacher, by being quickly accessible, and at the reach of the students, helps students remain engaged and allows them more time to learn and less time to wait.
Kindergarten, as exciting as it is, can become very difficult for teachers. Offering them new and accessible materials will increase their willingness to learn and try new things with their classmates!
