Engaging my students and enhancing my lessons has been very difficult to do. I am currently working as a third grade teacher in a high need community in California. Most of my students are English Language Learners. There is a lack of resources for teachers. This makes it very difficult to engage and enhance my lessons. We are also a full inclusion school district, so a lot more resources are needed to meet our special needs students' goals and needs.
