My students are middle school students attending a relatively public school in the Bronx. They are from diverse ethnic backgrounds and many of their families are struggling to stay sound in this economy. Although some have computer access, the majority of my students do not have a computer in their home. Additionally, due to their diverse ethnic backgrounds, many have moved here from out of the country and struggle to learn due to language barriers. I feel so blessed to be able to go to work each day and work with children that inspire me and make my heart smile. It is my goal to empower them to be the changes we wish to see in our world and help prepare them for college and career readiness.
