Helping students prepare for a brighter future is something that I am very passionate about. CurrentIy, I work at an inner city school that sits in a neighborhood. I have been fortunate to work with students from kindergarten through second grade throughout my career. As an EIP teacher, I have the opportunity of working with more students than a regular classroom teacher. The students I work with struggle in the areas of reading and math. Some of them are working one to two grade levels behind their peers. My students come from low income, single parent homes. I also have students who struggle with the English language. For many of them, the only language their parents understand is Spanish. My students are my heart. I make sure that I give them 100 percent at all times.
