A key deficit facing children that need Resource Support is writing. Students get the content, they just are not as adept at demonstrating their understanding in writing quickly and completely. Before they have a chance to produce the required work about a given topic, the classroom teacher has moved on to the next topic. It's a constant battle to keep up. And one that can leave a child feeling "left behind."
