Our students are delightful! They come to school with a curiosity for learning about their world around them. We want to encourage them to read their world in both Spanish and English. We are located in a large urban area in Washington state. The majority of our children are from low income families that are struggling financially and need our help to get them the resources their children need to do well in school. We understand that it may be a hardship for some of our families to get to our public libraries, so we allow families to check out books as well. Making the access to books a lot easier! Our families are able to help their children enjoy the gift of reading by having greater access to books in both Spanish (which the majority of our families speak) and English.
