My class of 22 second grade students bring joy every day into the room. These students come from low to middle class homes, with 11 of the 22 students being on free or reduced lunch. Some of my students are fortunate to have parents that work with them at home and expose them to real life experiences, while others come to school and receive the only positive interaction that they will get all day. My students attend a title 1 school in Georgia, and are constantly absorbing and soaking in new knowledge everyday. They love to sing and dance, and enjoy learning games and experiences.
