Over 95% of my students are on free or reduced lunch. They are kind hearted and respectful kids even though they are living in this time of economic crisis. They come from working families who struggle to pay the bills. I must say that the families of these children do value their child's education. I teach at a public school in Indiana. If you have heard about the new laws that are affecting public education, then you know that our funding has been cut.
