I have 22 active 1st graders and they are so excited and ready to learn! They live about 30 minutes north of Houston but some have never been into the city. They are eager to learn and excited to come to school everyday. My students come from all different types of homes but when they walk through my doors they know they are safe, loved, and are going to have fun while learning!
