I will be using this iPad in a very focused and data driven manner. All of my interactions with students have one goal: to improve communication skills.
I will be maximizing my time by utilizing "centers" for articulation and language activities. My district does not provide additional help for my 40+ student caseload. Therefore, my groups have to be bigger (5+ students) in order to support IEP goals. The centers will allow me to work with smaller groups while some students are working independently on iPad apps that are focused on their specific area of need. Each student will rotate to a different center and each student will have time to work on specific goals on the iPad.
