My students attend school and live in low income homes in the triad area of North Carolina. Our school is a Title 1 school where all children receive free lunch. Our children are eager to learn despite their economic situations. Most of the families of these children, though their intentions are well, do not have the means to buy school supplies for their child. This project will make a huge impact on media lessons through games and manipulatives that foster learning that will make visiting the school library a more enjoyable experience.
