Being a bilingual teacher and a second language learner myself I truly understand the necessity for having good quality books in all languages represented in my classroom as well as other English materials to read and create a strong foundation in their native language. Having good quality reading materials in the classroom and being able to take them home my students will benefit by reinforcing the language and vocabulary in the second language.
