Our elementary school is a Title 1 school and located in a rural area. Due to our location, the county library is not accessible for most of our families. Currently, we have 520 students and 100% of them are bused to school. We have a 21% transiency rate and 38% of our students qualify for free or reduced price lunch. Another 15% of our students are considered English language learners. In addition, we were awarded the High Achieving status in 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 and made adequate yearly progress in 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.
