Our school is located in a socio-economically low neighborhood in Southern California. Many of the students have yet to have Internet access at home and are so eager and excited whenever they are given the opportunity to use computers at school, which is not very often.
Computers and laptops are slowly being purchased for the school district but are given priority to the upper grades and therefore our 6th graders rarely get the chance to work on them. They are waiting eagerly for the day they will be able to extend their learning using the technology!
