We have seen few new resources or technology at our middle school this year and students recognize what is missing. Anything I can bring into the classroom to change up our daily routine excites them and encourages them to engage in our lesson. My 7th graders will tell you they are too old and don't care about "cool" stuff at school, but I know the minute they see their new dry erase boards, smiles will be abound in the room. For my students, it is the little things that help make their learning experience more enjoyable.
