Our students attend an elementary school in Utah. They are fascinated with our science curriculum because it is all so new to them and it is a totally different world of exploration. When I did my microscope unit they were so excited to see the different slides. I required them to view 8 slides and draw what they saw. So many of them had to wait for the semi-decent slides to become available, yet they didn't just stop at 8; they kept going until it was time to clean up. They kept calling me and their classmates over to see what they were seeing! They continually mentioned how fun it was and wished that they could do it again.

About my class
