These board games will be an important tool to provide hands-on and heads-on skills and knowledge development for my middle school elective classes. Students enjoy utilizing play as a tool for discussions and problem solving with peers. These hands-on opportunities motivate them to collaborate with peers. Learning through social activities like games give students an inviting and engaging way to learn and demonstrate their knowledge. The games will allow students to develop life skills in a real-world scenario. My students frequently ask for time to play games. The fun atmosphere and friendly competition encourages them to participate more in class.
