If each student had their own tablet, the family of these students could access to the reading curriculum ARC bookshelf teacher guides and student practice pages. These low income families of first grade students need leveled material just like this that is easily adjusted to their child's current learning needs. Family members who are suddenly charged with home schooling could use this format especially families that are struggling with ideas for reading material that is interesting and supports the skill level. Although the school district sent home packets, this format provides the right challenge and the right support and the right high interest materials all the the family members reach.
