I work in a self-contained high school classroom for students with moderate to severe cognitive disabilities. Some of their disabilities include: Autism, Downs Syndrome, Visually Impaired, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Cerebral Palsy. My students function academically between a pre-school to first grade level. I combine academic, life skills, and vocational job training into my program.
