These materials will be used to help students role play who community helpers are, and what their jobs are. By having the pretend uniforms and professional tools students will get to wear the uniforms, which will also help them identify each profession and what respect should be given to them. It will also promote conversation as to what is expected of us as a community. It will teach how these workers help us be safe or how they provide services to the community. Students will be encouraged to communicate using their academic vocabulary. It’s never to early to learn.
