My school is in the middle of a highly populated second-language area. Many children also come from low-income families, and some of the families are also not highly-educated. Capturing their interest in academic content is very important, especially in a creative area such as adding voice to writing, when they are also concentrating on learning punctuation and using capitals. Using technology during writing, which is centered only on themselves, has the opportunity to enhance their writing skills, which in turn, could enhance their reading skills!
About my class
