My students are spending too much time on their computers! Due to COVID-19, local and school libraries are closed. Most of my students don't have access to to great literature. This project will put real books in their hands! The chapter books I've chosen will bring the joy and excitement of reading to my students. I want them to be able to move away from their computers and enter a world of imagination, relaxation, and pleasure. We will meet in small groups on Zoom to discuss, explore themes, and develop a rich vocabulary. These books will provide a wonderful shared experience for my entire class.
