The students at my school come from different backgrounds, socioeconomic, and ability levels - we are a rainbow of culturally diverse students. We have a very high population of immigrant students as well as refugee students. More than 97% of the students receive free or reduced lunch. These students come to school everyday wanting to learn and do their best. I believe I am here to help them do just that. I want to make their lives a little bit easier and consistent while they are in my classes. My goal is to teach every child in a way that works for them. It is my belief that every child can learn. I feel I am a teacher to show them this and to foster the idea that they can succeed with work and effort.
