My students are in Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten class at a Title I school in California. Some of my student are ELD learners. They come from homes where Spanish is their primary language. I have some students that are English speaking. They all bring with them a rich cultural background.
My students are active. They love music, dance, and dramatic play. When they hear music they are ready to learn! Since they have music class for only 30 minutes a day once a week they really look forward to it.
