I teach sixth grade middle school science in a rural community in the middle of the United States. Most of our students are on free and reduced lunch. My mission is to get out of our seats and into our lab as often as I can with my students, to provide them an authentic hands on approach to science. I want to expose them to career fields they may not have even heard about, through STEM projects and other enrichment opportunities that make them problem solve, think, create, build, design and try again.
