I am a fourth grade teacher in one of the "Big Five" districts in New York. We are a high-needs district with high-needs students. I teach fourth and as such I teach all subject to my students. This year I am working closely with another teacher to better meet the demands of our students. We teach our special needs students (from learning disabilities to emotional disabilities) along side our general ed population. One of my most favorite things is watching the kids help each other to understand and learn from each other.
