Our students attend a public intermediate school. The population is mainly Hispanic, from a low socio-economic area. Many of our students are English learners and struggle with their academic subjects. Art provides an important means for expression and develops positive habits of the mind and social behavior. Our neighborhood and school is very densely populated and our resources are limited. We would love to be able to make prints and work with different printmaking techniques, something our usual budget does not allow.
