My students are diverse and range on reading and writing levels from 3rd grade to 9th grade. They have a variety of struggles but still show great enthusiasm in learning and acquiring information. Where we live has a lot to do with the struggles that our students face everyday. In the South Bronx, our students are faced with violence, abandonment, high pregnancy rates, and so many other factors. However, there is greatness in the Bronx. My students show that they have the potential to be successful if they are given the opportunity.
